| Qualifications & handoff | Included, excluded, allowance, or to confirm; open questions, owners, next actions, and estimate review. |
Use it at the takeoff handoff
- Record the exact drawing issue and give every physical piece a unique ID.
- Transfer reviewed dimensions and quantities. Keep tops, backsplashes, and waterfalls as separate pieces.
- Mark each scope item included, excluded, allowance, or to confirm. A blank cell means unresolved, not zero.
- Assign an owner and next action to each open question, then review the scope alongside the estimate.
Use the free countertop takeoff tool to check dimensions and highlighted surface areas and the annotated walkthrough as an example of how to connect the records.
Connect the worksheet to your workflow
The fields follow the Takeoff Guide’s takeoff checklist and the project’s documented drawing-to-pricing workflow. They are a general template; adapt them to the job and your shop’s pricing rules.
